After a very successful career that spanned nearly 50 years, Joe Churchill has decided to retire and will therefore sell 9 prime Quincy, Illinois properties along with a line of well maintained construction equipment and related inventory. As stated above, this retirement auction will be held on 1 day with 2 separate starting times and locations. The first auction will take place at 9:00 A.M. and will consist of all construction equipment, vehicles, concrete forms, shop tools & related support items. This auction will be held at 701 N. 52nd St., Quincy, Illinois. The real estate auction will be held at 6:00 P.M. at the Stoney Creek Inn, which is located at 3809 Broadway St., Quincy, Illinois. METHOD & TERMS

The Churchill properties will be sold in 9 individual tracts. All tracts will be sold on a price per acre basis. All tracts will be offered through the method of “Buyer’s choice”, whereas the high bidder can elect (in any order) any or all 9 tracts for their high bid. Buyer’s choice auctioning will continue until all 9 tracts have been sold. At no time will any of the tracts be offered in their entirety or in any combinations.
 
Immediately following the auction, the successful buyer(s) will be required to enter into a written purchase agreement with the seller and pay ten percent (10%) of the bid price. The balance of the bid price will be due at the time of closing which is tentatively scheduled for Friday, May 19, 2019. Title insurance in the full amount of the purchase price will be provided by the seller. The 2018 real estate taxes will be paid by the seller. The 2019 real estate taxes, which are due and payable in 2020 will be prorated to the date of closing. Full possession will be granted at closing.
